Pat Buchanan chronicles the mood of our nation as well as that in France. I have been observing the momentum for Front National’s Marine Le Pen for a number of years and was surprised only by the margin of victory won recently by the hardline Front National. FN’s well-publicized target is radical Islam.
Here in the U.S., the liberal media and the establishment political elite have been broadsided by the unprecedented public support for the words of Donald Trump. Why? Mr. Trump is only being forthright about the opinions a majority of Americans share, but have a hard time framing in public. Not Donald Trump.
Mr. Buchanan writes about the New York Times’ first in 95 years front-page editorial. The Times is demanding new federal gun laws. Pat writes, “Outlawing AK-47s and AR-15s may seem like common sense to the Times. But Americans do not believe such laws would keep terrorists from getting these weapons. And many realize those cops used semi-automatic rifles to turn the terrorists’ SUV into a pile of junk in a single minute — and them into Bonnie and Clyde.”
Pat is of course on the money here while the Times editorial is strictly delusional. Among the arsenal of weapons I own is an AK-47 and an AR-15. These would be clearly the first two weapons I would reach for if looking to defend myself in a worst-case scenario. The bad guys, whoever they may be, will have no trouble obtaining all the weapons they want. What kind of stupidity would leave you and your family bereft of exactly the firepower you would require to best defend yourselves in an emergency?
My advice? Carefully read each of my posts in my six-part The Armed American Family (I, II, III, IV, V, VI). And pass my series on to members of your family and your associates. Being properly prepared to fight back demands education and proper training, both of which require some diligence on your part as well as some time. Get started now before you are simply out of luck.
