If you’re wondering whether or not Americans really care more about the events of January 6, 2021, than they do about their ability to afford food and gasoline for their families, walk the streets in safety, or to live behind a border that protects them from drug smugglers and illegal immigrants, the answer is in the polls. After January 6, 2021, Donald Trump’s RCP average net disapproval rating fell to -18.5. This was just after the worst PR disaster of his presidency.
Meanwhile, Joe Biden has upset Americans so much with his policies, that his approval ratings have fallen to an average of -19.5 points. Compare that to Trump’s net disapproval at the same time in his term, which was a mere -7.9 points.
No wonder Hillary Clinton sees an opening for herself in 2024. With polls for Biden this bad, a red wave may be coming in November’s midterm elections too.
