No president since Lyndon Johnson and his Great Society/Vietnam debacle has done more to enrage Americans than has Barack Obama. Debbie and I today are completing a 2,000-mile road trip from Newport to Key West. Along the route we counted Romney/Obama lawn signs. We have been shocked at the paucity of Obama signs. It has been Romney all the way, especially in southern Virginia where in one long stretch the tally was Romney 36/Obama 0. Not once along our route did Obama emerge as winner.
In no way would I wish to cite lawn signs as a high-odds guide to victory, but our 2,000 mile lawn signs poll sure puts forth a different look than that supplied by the mainstream media. A better test is my own ongoing poll of small business owners, including my own clients and the small business owners we met along our travel routes this summer, both on Harleys and by auto. Small businesses despise Obama. I cannot remember a positive Obama response from a single small business owner. In that small business creates most of the jobs in America, Obama’s historically rotten jobs performance is the single key issue this voting season, matched closely by national security.
As my two-part Bing West series clearly points out, the Obama administration had plenty of advance as well as real time intelligence on Benghazi. The administration has lied to Americans and created a smokescreen cover-up. This fact alone should end Barack Obama’s chances for a second term. But four years of failure on the jobs front must be the knife in his back. I have linked two late-breaking poll essays that will give you a clear look at how the presidential race should end up. Based on employment and national security issues, my small business clients and I believe Americans have an open and shut case against a second term for Barack Obama.
